Our Origins

Orange Moon was born of a gardener's hands, a mother's care, and a love for the quiet magic that unfolds in the bath. In 1996, after the birth of her first daughter, Jana began handcrafting bath blends from the purest and most potent botanicals. Each blend was crafted to transform the bath into a place to soften, slow, and return to oneself. Baths became a treasured daily ritual with her daughters, Sage and Selma - warm water cocooning skin, steam drifting upward, carrying a scent both delicate and grounding. Inspired by the healing properties of plants and the beauty of nature's raw palette, Jana began crafting her blends for loved ones - small rituals of care to be shared. Those who received them spoke of a softness that stayed on the skin and in the soul long after the water had drained away.

Today, Orange Moon continues as a mother-daughter collaboration. What began as a mother's touch grew into a family love language, now held by her children and their own. From our workshop in Bellingham, Washington, each product is crafted with care and intention. Sage works alongside Jana, carrying forward the vision that began decades ago. Orange Moon is our family's offering to you - an invitation to linger, to breathe deeply, and to feel the quiet magic that rises with the steam.
